A lot of people spend a lot of time applying defensive as well as revitalizing lotions and creams to their faces. After all, the face is the very first thing an individual tends to notice about another person. As a result, you need to make a good impression. The trouble with that, though, is that we usually neglect various other areas. If we have neck wrinkles or even wrinkles on the hands, though, they usually are equally visible.
Now, your first reaction might be to invest in turtleneck sweaters and gloves, but who are you kidding? That really isn't practical at all. There are a lot of better options, if you just have a little patience and pay attention to your body.
It all begins with understanding skin pigment. As you get older, you see, your body produces more melanin, which causes more skin pigment. Sun exposure can also increase pigment production. That leads to ugly spots on your hands, neck and other parts of your body.
You can deal with the problem, though. Hand treatment all starts with good exfoliation. Namely, you need to use retinols and AHA peels to exfoliate the skin on your hands. Also, though, you need to stop melanin from causing ugly splotches. You can do that by blocking some of the enzymes with hydroquinone treatments.
Just remember, the skin on your hands is sensitive and will be more so after AHA treatments. So, it's important to keep it hydrated and moisturized. It's also especially important to keep it protected from the sun's harsh rays. So, be sure to put plenty of sunscreen on your hands when you go out.
You need to treat your neck a bit differently. You can use lightening agents on it, of course. They need to be products that are specifically meant to treat neck wrinkles, though. There are creams everywhere, these days, though. So, it should be easy to find a great anti aging cream for your neck.
Just remember to have a realistic goal in mind, when you start using an anti wrinkle cream. After all, many of them make promises that make them sound almost magical. None of them keep those promises, though. It can take months to see any results, not minutes. It's worth it, in the long run, but it won't fix the problem instantly.
The key to a younger looking neck is to understand that there are many steps along the road. You have to hydrate, moisturize with LifeCell and exercise. Only then can you start to see results. So, be patient and, most of all, be consistent about your skin care.
