Indulging In Favorites While On The Homeopathic HCG Diet

While on the homeopathic HCG diet dieters have to learn quickly how to abstain from food. They have to limit themselves to very small portion sizes. And they have to learn to live without their favorite foods.

The question quickly becomes how can I still find eating enjoyable while on the homeopathic HCG diet? Is it possible? Some say it's absolutely not possible. But these people are usually the ones that have never actually tried the diet. Making eating while sticking to the homeopathic HCG protocol is undeniably difficult. The list of approved foods is very short. And as mentioned previously the portion sizes are very small and not negotiable. So how to dieters do it? Smart homeopathic HCG dieters find something on the list that they enjoy eating and they look for recipes that are HCG approved that incorporate the item.

Do you have a favorite type of food? Do you lean towards Italian? No pasta allowed…sorry, but there is a great marinara sauce. Do you lean towards Mexican? You won't find any fabulous refried bean, burrito, crispy taco or tostada recipes, but you will find one of the most classic Mexican food appetizers of all…chips and salsa.

Chips and Salsa (pulled from the HCG Diet Direct Recipe Guide)

1. Dice up some fresh tomatoes, onions and cilantro (it might be worth investing in a small cilantro plant for the course of the diet. It tastes far better straight off the plant). Make a Pico de Gallo mixture.

2. Instead of the traditional corn chip you'll be using Melba Toasts. Make sure to stick to one serving.

Granted…this isn't the never ending appetizer that is featured at most Mexican food restaurants, but you'll find they are a fabulous healthy replacement. Stick to one serving size of vegetables and one serving size of starch and you have followed the homeopathic HCG protocol while indulging in a favorite food. And that's really saying something when you're sticking to the rules of a very low calorie diet.
